I've been in the industry for nearly 25 years and what first attracted me to it then, still keeps me going strong today. The day-to-day challenges; the unique profile and needs of each client; and the fact that I'm helping people have better lives are all reasons why I enjoy my career. Nothing is more gratifying than getting a letter from a young adult thanking me for helping his parents make his college education possible. And the best part is, I get letters similar to this every day. Whether I'm helping a client prepare for college or retirement, people are constantly surprised at how quickly life's milestones creep up! Joining MetLife four years ago was a great move — for both me and my husband who is Managing Sales Director for the office. MetLife Premier Client Group's team approach, its depth and breadth of resources, and its commitment to training and development have all made monumental differences to my practice. Though my analytical side is in control at work, what I do in my spare time — cooking — helps me express my creativity. Being a competitive golfer has been good for my career as a financial advisor. The discipline I’ve gained from consistently trying to improve my game carries over into how I strive to better myself and grow my business. In fact, I meet a lot of new people on the golf course who often become new clients, and have helped other women appreciate golf both as a sport and as a business tool.

I came to be a financial advisor at MetLife as a second career, and approached learning a new business in much the way I approach my golf game: with hard work, practice and commitment.
